South West Larder, the operating company behind Whitlocks Restaurant within Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton are to be commended. Their food testing and development is taken seriously. I have tried the chilled lunch option so far: an excellent artisan cheese quiche and salad. A very generous portion and good value. A frozen meal option to buy and eat later would be helpful too for hospital staff and visitors who fancy a quality meal prepared with locally sourced ingredients.

Whitlock's restaurant is operated by: ( South West Larder ltd), formerly called Somerset Larder Ltd. All the produce is locally sourced from trusted suppliers.The chilled lunch meals are excellent.

Breakfast was cold I paid 20 for 3 breakfast and was wasted because we did not eat it
