Food was great, and reminds me of the food back home. Recommend the grilled pork rice and the tom yum with egg noodles, taste really authentic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €25–30

We had a pleasant meal at Wonton Soup Thai Restaurant and were happy to find Thai cuisine in Finland. The flavors were quite good, and the authenticity level is around 70%, which is decent considering we’re far from Thailand. The food was enjoyable, but for the price, the portion sizes were not as generous compared to other Asian restaurants in Finland. One downside was that the chicken portion was quite small, with a large amount of onions and spices making up most of the dish. The green curry pork is good. Love the curry gravy. Sweet and flavorful. But we wish there could be more gravy. In Thai or Asian country that serve curry the gravy comes in a bowl. We also tried their Wonton Soup, which was pretty good—especially in the cold weather! The soup had a comforting Asian taste, and the wontons were quite nice, though they were not the traditional minced meat style. Still, it was a satisfying dish. A small thing to note is that the restaurant closes early at 8 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. Overall, it’s a good option for Thai food in Rovaniemi, especially if you’re craving something different from local cuisine.
