I wouldn't even give my last experience one star. This is NOT the restaurant it used to be. I would come in and eat multiple times each trip I made to London, but after tonight I will never eat there again. First, the ambience is GONE: Over half the restaurant has been boarded up, and when I tried asking if it would come back the server said "I don't know". Then for the ordering: I come for a specific item on the menu. As soon as we sat down I asked the server if it was available. He never informed me it wasn't available until we were completely finished with the meal and ready for our check. Lastly, and the absolute worst part of the experience. When we asked for our check, we were informed it was cash only. We were NEVER informed of this, and there are credit card signs in the window. We made it very clear that we should have been informed when we were seated or there should have been a sign at the entrance, and said we needed to pay by credit card since this was a business trip and we were not carrying cash. We were told that one of us needed to be escorted by our server to an ATM to get the money. (What?!?) I said that something needed to be removed or there needed to be a discount given since I would incur ATM fees. I was told that one 4.50 item could be removed. When the server returned he had the credit card machine. He kept insisting that it did not work. He ran the card and the receipt printed. He again said that he did not think it went through to the bank. I saw the confirmation number, and I had a receipt to sign. It felt like the server was trying to run a huge scam. The service was dreadful, and the food had definitely declined. It's such a sad situation, and I painfully have to recommend you completely avoid the restaurant I once loved.

Appalling, came here at lunchtime, waited an hour to get only 1 of 3 things I ordered, then spent 10 minutes queueing to pay only to have them not take my card. The one dish I ordered was no better than my local takeaway. If you're over the road at Olympia for an event, don't waste your precious time.

RIP OFF! a total rip off!! My cousin came from Canada, we went to yas for shisha and food. She decided to pay the bill without me knowing. 3 days after, we went to another Persian restaurant , and I paid the bill, she was surprised by how cheap the bill was! When I asked her how much she'd paid Yas, and after going through the menu, I realised that they've over charged her by £36!!!!!! Instead of £40 they'd charge her £76! And since she's from Canada, she thought that's the price in London. Mr Eshraghi, the owner , needs to learn some ethics and manners, and respect his customers instead of stealing from them.
