The food is absolutely incredible! I love the way that chef makes innovative plays on classic Korean dishes. When my husband and I went, we each got the five course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend the wagyu beef tartar and yellowtail hwe to start. The juk is a fantastic take on the classic as well. The textures and depth of flavor are unparalleled. Don't sleep on the kimchi jeon or crispy octopus, either. Highly recommend the kalbi ssam for the entree and panna cotta for dessert. You can tell by the quality of the ingredients and creative spins, that the chef really cares about the food he puts out for his guests. It's also fun to see the signed Michelin restaurant menus around the restroom area. I think the fine dining experiences he's had has rubbed off on this establishment. My sisters and I ate here last night for dinner and we loved it! We had an early dinner so we were able to walk in without a reservation. We split a bunch of apps- fried cauliflower, rose tteok bokki, japchae, and agi bibimbap- and all of them were delicious! The kalbi steak was so tender too. Highly recommend! I went to Yoli this Saturday, and let’s just say it did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The food was amazing, especially the crispy octopus, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The lettuce wraps were also fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. One thing I really appreciated was how much food you get for the price. The portions were more than fair, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. The service was just as impressive. It looked like there were only three people working, but they handled everything smoothly and efficiently. There was a young guy helping out not a main server, but more of a helper and he was doing a great job keeping things moving. He was polite, quick and also explained things really good. Even though they seemed busy, the whole team worked really well together. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
