I’ve been a regular at the Zaxby’s on State Road 200 in Yulee, but my most recent visit was frustrating. I ordered my usual Four Finger Plate and specifically asked for the coleslaw in a separate cup so my fries wouldn’t get soggy and the slaw would stay chilled. They did not honor that simple request. I also upgraded the combo to a large fries and large drink and was charged for the upgrade, but I only received the standard small/regular fries (about 4 oz). I’m paying for 8 oz of large fries and keep getting shorted. Unfortunately, this isn’t a one-time mistake — it seems to be a consistent issue here when upgrading fries and drinks. The food itself tasted fine, but the lack of attention to custom requests and the inaccurate portion sizes on upgrades make it hard to recommend this location right now. I hope management addresses these recurring problems. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have given this store a few chances, yesterday did it for me. It's around 1, so it's still lunch, but they weren't busy, my wife ordered a pickup and I decided to order when I got there, I used a coupon on the app for a free shake with the purchase of a dry rub meal. One the cashier scanned the app the shake didn't come off, she had me scan it again, it still didn't come of the bill. The cashier proceeded to just stand there with a blank look on her face, I closed and reopened the app to find the coupon was no longer there, I told this to the cashier who still just stood there looking at me, after about a minute I suggested that she get a manager, the manager comes out, asks to see my app and starts trying to scroll through my rewards, finds one for a free shake for 600 points and says that's it, I explain that it's not the coupon and I don't want to use my points, I want to use the coupon that is now gone from the app so obviously it had been redeemed. She finally just voids the milkshake from the ticket. I pay and the cashier hands me my food, minus the milkshake, I remind her and she goes off to make it. I get my food and the milkshake and then tell them I need the other order, the food is ready but the shake for that order is not, which is understandable, while that shake is being made a lady comes inside that had ordered curbside and wants a refund because she has been sitting in her car for something like thirty minutes and her food was never brought out. This store is night and day different from the one a few miles away in Fernandina, there is always an issue with scanning the app, and when you bring it to their attention it's like they have no idea what specials or promotions they are running. I get the food home and find out, the shakes are the wrong flavor and the food tastes like it has been sitting for a long time, I live three minutes away, so it's not the drive to the house. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
