Кафе работает до 6 вечера. Это вкуснейшие торты. Очень приятный хозяин.

In my opinion it is rated way too high. The breakfast is totally overpriced, not really much and the selection is not at all well thought out. Sometimes completely different things arrive than what was actually ordered. The plates are arranged very nicely, you can't say anything. I think 45€ for a breakfast for 2 people and 2 drinks with normal household ingredients is steep. The atmosphere is quite nice, but unfortunately the staff isn't really friendly and they argue loudly with other guests about not having enough bread rolls. This quaint cafe and traditional German "Konditorei" is a true gem. Nestled into the second floor of an historic timber framed house complex the atmosphere is cosy, personal, friendly and relaxed. This is due to the layout offering little books and crannies to sit as well as a lot of natural light from the many windows wrapped around the main dining room. There is a small alfresco area as well as a separate function room (seating 10-15 guests comfortably). The cafe restaurant and bakery offers great tasting breakfast & lunch food as well as exquisite coffee & cakes for afternoon "tea time". Cakes are displayed at the fridge counter and constantly change. However, the typical German style treats (like cheese cake, Black Forest Gareau, etc.) are quite often available. They taste fantastic and are all made fresh daily. Besides the coffee, tea and soft drinks a really excellent hit chocolate offered - as well as wine & other alcoholic drinks. The very personal and friendly service by Elias and his team is what sets this place truly apart from other cafes in Echterdingen and the wider local.area. You are immediately made to feel appreciated as a guest, welcomed as a person and looked after like a good friend. This sense of being truly hosted and cared for is hard to describe - it's personal yet always professional, never intrusive, but always sensitive towards your needs & requirements as a guest. In short: this is what hospitality should feel like. The "Zimtzucker" is a fantastic example for the best one can experience in a neighbourhood cafe serving truly outstanding food and beverages in a great location on the main street of Echterdingen. Go visit and you will be spoiled! P.S.: having been a repeat guest for breakfast, lunch and coffee time, we recently booked the function room for a family occasion.
