A good starting point in a quiet location. The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, tip top for us. The breakfast is rich and the coffee also tastes good. The restaurant has a good selection of dishes and not only that, the food was really tasty and the service is particularly friendly and courteous. For us hikers, this certainly leaves a lasting positive impression. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

We had booked three nights for a short vacation and were looking forward to visiting the restaurant in the evening because of the many good reviews of the restaurant. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The restaurant was closed and there was no notice on the website or when booking. Very inconvenient. We were able to book breakfast on site, but it had to be paid for in cash. The staff had to come up with excuses for the boss as to why things weren't working. Nothing plausible to us. We were very impressed with the breakfast. We were the only guests at the time of our stay. We had a very good and extensive selection. I could also add two little things to the room. But since I didn't complain about anything at checkout, I'll leave it out. Given the low room price, we could live with it and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Walkability: Good starting point for hikes. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value
