I ordered a Dirty Bird pizza and had a disappointing customer service experience. The employee working the register, who was wearing a hijab, assisted me with my order. At the end of my order, I asked if a small amount of arugula and parmesan cheese could be added on top, along with ranch and buffalo sauce dressing that usually comes with it. When I asked about the dressing, I was told that because I had already added two extra ingredients, I would be charged additionally. What bothered me was not the extra charge itself, but the interaction and the way it was communicated. The response felt unfriendly and came across as dismissive rather than helpful. I ended up leaving with a laugh because I was genuinely surprised by the experience. Customer-facing roles can have a big impact on how customers feel, and I think a more welcoming attitude and clearer communication would make a big difference. Ruined the mood for the day, that's all. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I had a really disappointing experience at &pizza inside IAD Airport. While preparing food, one of the employees was grabbing trash bins with the same gloves she was using to make pizzas and never changed them afterward. Watching someone handle garbage and then go right back to preparing food without switching gloves is honestly unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. On top of that, the overall customer service was poor. The employee barely acknowledged customers, had a very rude attitude, and made the whole interaction uncomfortable. Paying around $14 for a pizza at the airport is already expensive, but you at least expect decent service and basic hygiene. Unfortunately, this location didn’t deliver on either. I hope management takes food safety and customer service more seriously in the future. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
