I recently needed to cater for 40 people for a forum our company was hosting. Daniel and his Awesome team at il Baretto were amazing in all areas and I highly recommend them. The food was delicious, the presentation was on point and the service went above and beyond. Looking forward to working with them again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

3 x persons arrived at about 10am Saturday morning. Not too busy. Waited at the counter to order. The staff member responsible for accepting orders was too busy, serving food and clearing tables, whilst a queue built up. when he finally got round to attending to customers waiting to order at the counter, there was no apology for the delay. Our order came up fragmented, and after eating almost all the food I ordered, no sign of my beverage. In the end I went up to the counter and saw my drink had been sat there for who knows how long? Again, no apology. It is obvious to me that there are not enough staff. Not many manners either. This is not the first time I have encountered customer service issues here, but was willing to give them a second chance. No more. Poor experience.

Until this morning I would have given at least 4 stars. However we called in there even though It was very busy. Our drinks arrived quite quickly followed by my toasted sandwich. I finished mine and my wife was still waiting on hers. Her toasted sandwich arrived just as we were finishing our drinks. However, it had ham on instead of just cheese and pineapple. Since she doesn't eat ham and we didn't want to stay too long when someone else could be using our table, she asked if it could be made as a take-away. On receiving it we thanked them and exited the restaurant. Imagine our surprise when she opened it, intending to eat it as we went to do our shopping, that it was just a whole double sandwich. Not cut in quarters or even halves. Since she couldn't eat it like that and it would obviously be cold by the time we got home, it went in the nearest bin.
We probably won't be going back.
