I saw this cafe on the board at a speciality coffee roaster and got intrigued as they specialise in baked stuff. It's on the 1st storey of one of those older buildings without a lift. It's a bit hard for those who have had knees to visit, but it's worth trying. The cafe is spacious and offers only sweets and beverage like many of the Japanese cafes. They updated the menu and I ordered hand drop coffee. The owner was very friendly and asked me how I had found his place. It's a hidden gem where overseas visitors have flocked and all reviews are not in Japanese. You have to pay when make an order and pick up your own food and drink, then return the tray when you leave. Some people may find it a bit inconvenient, but it's ran by only one person so it didn't bother me. I ordered light roasted Ethiopia and a piece of butter cream biscuit. I had never seen one at a cafe so asked what it was. The owner explained it's something similar to Hokkaido's famous butter cream biscuit. Coffee was well made and the butter cream biscuit tasted really good. The owner chose a mug of which colour equalled to the cranberry cream, which showed how much the place cares for what they offer to clients. Wish it was a little bigger as it was really, really yummy!!! Some reviewer said it's nothing special and portion was very small. I guess they choose quality over quantity. There is one bench seat and a big shared table with high chairs. If you wish to work, read or study, this place may not be ideal though I saw one lady sitting on the bench was reading a book. I am looking forward to revisiting this cafe to enjoy the other types of baked goods with lovely coffee Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Mostly sweet stuff

キャロットの隣にあるビルの2階、服屋さんの隣の入口から階段を昇るとあるオシャレでシンプルなカフェです。 入って正面カウンターで注文。 クレジットカード決済可。 商品出来ると、カウンターから呼ばれるので、自分で取りに行く感じでした。 入口入って右手側に、小さなテーブルの席が4席。 右手側奥に細長い一枚板のテーブル席。 8人程度が座れるみたいです。 窓も大きく明るい感じで、穴場感がありました。 クッキー等の焼菓子やチーズケーキ等のケーキが5種類くらいにアフォガード等もあり、すすきのにありながら、静かで落ち着いた空間で良かったです。 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
