Sometimes I wish I could give 6 stars for some places. Or at least, 6 stars for certain aspects. Re.public definitely has the atmosphere - especially upstairs in the "Loft" area! I always go upstairs to the Loft to eat and hangout. It's like hanging out in the coolest DJ loft while you eat! Plush leather seating is super comfy! There are no other restaurants in the area that have such a cool atmosphere. Service is top notch and friendly. They have an extensive bottled drink menu, but I'm not a drinker so I stick with the regular food. I have had the fish and chips, the chicken burger, and the regular burger, and all were excellent. This is a great place to just chill and relax while you enjoy some good food and good music. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20 Vegetarian options: They have a Vegetarian Lasagna that others have said is delicious, but I haven't tried yet. Parking options: Paid street parking Parking: Located down SugarTree Lane, which is a walkway beneath SugarTree Apartments. From Union St, you can see Holimoli Bakery and Re.Union cafe at the entry to SugarTree Lane. Just walk down a bit further (away from Union St.) on SugarTree lane and you will see Re.public on the left. Wheelchair accessibility: The main area is wheelchair accessible with no steps. However, getting up to the Loft area requires walking up a staircase, and there is no elevator to the Loft area as far as I know.
