This restaurant is great! Everyone was very friendly and the food was fantastic. We had an issue on our end (a 4 hour delay on our flight) and they were very accommodating with our reservation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Kid-friendliness: They had great options for kid's food.

Wonderful Authentic Austrian getaway at the top of Bridge St. in Vail Village. Great restaurant for a small birthday party or Apres Ski. Delightful staff and amazing menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30 Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Paid parking lot Parking: Parking is at the Structure on the South Frontage Rd. Kid-friendliness: Fun for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure. It is upstairs .

Rigid policy, poor service. I organized a birthday dinner here for a friend’s fiancé, expecting the warm Alpine hospitality Almresi is known for. Unfortunately, the evening ended on a very sour note due to rigid, poorly communicated policies and dismissive management. Our reservation was for 6:00 PM. By 8:00 PM, as we were attempting to enjoy the celebration and order dessert (specifically the chocolate fondue), a hostess approached us and told us we had to leave because other parties were waiting. Despite explaining that this was a birthday celebration booked through a concierge, we were told there is a strict two-hour limit. We even offered to move to the bar area to finish our evening, but were told that wasn't an option. The most disappointing part was my interaction with the manager. When I pointed out that a two-hour limit for a large celebration felt rushed, he told me the policy is clearly stated on OpenTable and that it was my concierge’s fault for not informing me. However, Almresi’s own OpenTable listing clearly states a 2.5-hour limit for parties over 7. To be pushed out 30 minutes early—and then condescended to by management regarding a policy they weren't even following correctly—is unacceptable at this price point. We were ready to spend more on dessert and drinks, but instead, we were shown the door. If you are planning a special occasion or a group dinner in Vail, I would suggest looking elsewhere where they actually value their guests’ time and celebrations. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
