A truly disappointing experience. After a 13-hour flight from Mexico, my friend and I went to Sottobosco just to have a pizza and relax, but we were treated with rudeness that completely goes against the spirit of la dolce vita. The manager unfairly put us under the spotlight in front of everyone, even though we asked politely to have pizza from the other restaurant, as other guests were having, even if I spoke in Italian. After two months in Umbria, where people are always warm and respectful, I was shocked by such an unfriendly and unprofessional attitude. Ironically uncomfortable and humiliating, especially for a place that claims to represent the face of Italian hospitality. After all, the whole staff made a good job to increase the quality service, so we ended up having a pleasing evening after the downfalls of the beginning.
