В этом ресторане можно попробовать вкусный салат с копченой курицей, курицу с кокосом и сэндвич с солониной. Официанты подают посетителям неплохой вишневый пирог, тонкие блинчики и кокосовое мороженое. Если верить гостям, здесь хороший чай.

This place was a Jacksonville favorite for decades. Sadly, they have just stopped caring about the quality of food they put out to the public. The last time I visited this place, my Julie (chef) salad had ham that was rancid adjacent. Today, I placed an order for 5 lunches for co-workers, every single order was prepared incorrectly. The chicken salad was old with a weird pink film on top as though it was exposed to their kitchen or refrigerator for hours or days, without being properly stored. When we called them, the person that answered said, sorry, and that we should let her know next time we order so that she can do "something special" for us. What does that mean??? She didn't ask for a name or contact information or even give her name. After hanging up, the general consensus was that they didn't care and that there would NOT be a next time. Even the Yum Yum Tree veterans in my office, who have been supporting this restaurant for longer than I've been alive, at this point, are now over it and not wanting to spend their money with a place that consistently tries to pass stale/ old food to it's paying customers. They all had similar stories to share about old food from this place as of late; we spent our lunch discussing how amazing the food was, once upon a time, and just how far the Yum Yum Tree has fallen. Our team believes in supporting small and locally-owned restaurants, but this is reserved for restaurants that care about the quality of food they are putting out. This is tragic, as this place used to be a Jacksonville gem. If you are in the area and want a good high-quality lunch, reasonably priced, go to the French Pantry one block over. Their food is fresh, consistent, and prepared daily. (I have no affiliation with the French Pantry or any other restaurant). PS. The lovely (always put together) lady with the salt and pepper hair and fabulous jewelry at the front was and is always pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. Hope she won't be unemployed soon. Get it together Yum Yum Tree.
