Ale’s Kitchen is a great spot for a delicious, satisfying meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A great local gem that I’d happily visit again! Do not work here, especially not as a server. One of the owners, Eddie, has a daughter, Savana, whose friend group has worked there since the restaurant’s opening. You will learn this pretty quickly as the favoritism will be so in your face it’ll be nearly impossible to ignore. Your availability will not be respected. You will be verbally and emotionally abused on a regular basis, you may even be sexually assaulted. Yes, that is correct. Several of the male staff members at Ale’s Kitchen have sexual assault allegations made against them by former young female staff members. And if you’re not related to the owners or friends with their daughters, guess what? No one will care. The manager, Alexis, is Eddie’s niece and plays into the mean girl, cliquey, hostile environment that is Ale’s Kitchen. I am genuinely upset with myself that I gave this establishment 6 months of my life. Do not work here.
