JUST WHAT WE NEED: more Whole Foods Markets which are unaffordable to many people in our community and offer a very unpleasant experience with argumentative store managers, high prices and “entitled” shoppers who think that they are the only ones who exist in the store. I have rarely had a complaint about Amazon Fresh, except about stocking and customer delivery carts being in the way (as opposed to having WF Corporate on speed dial). We are devastated at the closure of Amazon Fresh. Not only could we return our Amazon Prime packages easily, we could find our favorites here and there was always a store near our appointments with doctors and weekly errands. Amazon is going in the wrong direction just to raise profits. Whole Foods will NEVER replace Amazon Fresh. Although it was annoying to get around stocking carts and carts being loaded for store pickup, the electronic checkout was phenomenal and the returns were easy. Whole Foods is expensive and does not carry much of what we want. Returning requires that you bring in the smelly, spoiled meat or fish only to be interrogated by a store lackey. This may change whether we continue to shop online through Amazon since WFs are inconvenient for Amazon returns with crowded parking lots and “entitled” clientele. In addition, WF is not on our regular shopping route. We will be returning to MOMs and will try to buy more at ROOTS and FRESH MARKET (for great meats, chicken and seafood). You never know where WF meats are sourced from and the quality is always changing (for the worse). I only buy Bell and Evans chicken at WF and have since found B & E at Wegmans.

Spacious store with plenty of parking. Always sparkling clean. Limited in some categories compared to other stores, but the prices are great! You can link your Prime account at the register - not sure how those fancy carts with the video monitors work but I think you can do it with those as well. You can also return items purchased from the website at the customer service counter or the self-serve kiosks. Very pleasant shopping experience overall!

I had a great experience yesterday at the Silver Spring Fresh store, two employees, Lois O. and Comfort N.were especially helpful when I lost my change purse ( contained my cards, ID and cash).nI approached them in produce to see if they found it, they searched the area and around the store to find it. They then took me to management to look at video footage to see where I may have dropped it. They took time were so kind and professional. Found my purse back it my car between the seats. So grateful to them, a big thank you Comfort and Lois!
