I was surprised by this visit in a good way. Went in with my family for dinner. The waitress was good and actually seemed like she enjoyed her job and interacted with my kids. Just like how it should be. Even when she forgot to bring something she was right back on it. Food was good all around. I have no complaints. We normally go to the Tipp city location and you can tell the life has just been sucked out of that location and management is horrible there. They just keep hiring whatever comes off the street. But the Troy location seems to have it together. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Hot Fudge Cake, Chili

Worst waitress ever trying to remember orders in her head and getting them wrong. Arguing with the person behind us over what they ordered. Took 15 minutes to get our check. But the food was good. I love Bob's Big Boy, but mostly for nostalgia. I'll admit the breakfast bar isn't the legend I remember, but I choose to remember it that way anyway.At this particular location, a Frisch's Big Boy, the food was ok, and the people quite visibly thought I was nuts, but I enjoyed it all the same.I'll always love the history, the chain, and my memories of it, but I understand, mostly from the weird looks and tepid reception of my family that maybe, it's just me.
