I went at a non-peak time to pick up my order I placed easily over the phone, and my Birria tacos were delicious! Nachos were very good and the Sopa de pollo also good. I would order here again and the drink menu looked spectacular! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Note* I want to give more stars because I have been here so many times. But the last time I was there I was very disappointed. No I did not complain while I was there because I was celebrating with friends and I didn't want to bring the mood down with what I had going on. But I do feel like Coyotes should know. They are not consistent with their menu or seem to know how to cook all the items on their menu. One time I went, I ordered a fajita type taco salad off their menu and all of the vegetables were cold including the meat. The bell peppers and chicken. Which was very disappointing. So I decided to never order that again from their menu. This most recent visit I ordered the Texas bowl. That plate costs $20. They served me a plate of meat and rice! There was no beans, no pico de gallo, no lettuce, no sour cream, no guacamole, nothing that would indicate that this was a Mexican bowl or worth $20! They just put chicken, steak, and shrimp over a plate of rice. I was so disappointed. Luckily my friend who ordered the Carnitas had beans and guacamole and Pico and some lettuce on her plate doesn't like guacamole so she let me scoop it off her plate and the table was ok letting me have the salsa from the table to make the meal better. Like I said, I was out celebrating so I didn't want to complain. I've had better food from here before but it seems like whoever is cooking it doesn't know how to make everything off their menu. They need to scale back on what they offer if that's the case, train them to do better, or charge less than $20 for a plate of meat and rice! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We were excited to try Coyote's Mexican Grill after reading so many positive reviews. A heads-up for anyone visiting, the location is a little tucked away and parking is limited, so plan accordingly. The service was a high point – we were seated almost immediately. I ordered the fajitas and my wife got a burrito. The flavors in both dishes were good, but we felt the food wasn't particularly special or unique. We also found the margarita to be disappointing; it was weak and tasted more like a pre-made mix. While nothing was terrible, the overall experience didn't quite match our expectations. It's a decent spot, but we were hoping for a bit more.
