Finnegan's has the best Happy Hour prices in Springfield, Mo. It's the perfect place to go right after work when you want a cool atmosphere, good appetizers, and good prices! It has TV's for all the games, it has actual games you can play- like pool, darts, bubble hockey, etc... and the bartenders remember you and they actually care. I remember one time going there for happy hour with some Co-workers, and 4pm turned into 7pm... so we ended up having dinner- which was fantastic, btw, you HAVE to try the jalapeño burger!!! Then dinner turned into staying till 12:30am!! My entire tab was only $40!!!! Where else can you hang out for 8 hours, eat and drink the whole time, and not have sticker shock when you get the bill at the end of the evening?? And it was the best time!!! Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Paid parking lot, Free of charge street parking Parking: You may have to walk a block, but I've never had trouble parking for free Kid-friendliness: No kids- and I'm not mad about it Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

While standing outside, I had a giant 3-in roach jump on my head. Then it flew around and attacked other people. It probably needs to get off the bottle. Somebody needs to cut this thing off before it goes full Babe Ruth on somebody. Would not recommend going without some raid if you're going to stand around outside because it's like Compton for roaches outside. Good beer and shots though. Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: I'm pretty sure all grain alcohol is vegan. Dietary restrictions: This isn't the best place to go if you have allergies to alcohol. Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Free of charge street parking Parking: There's places to park but you have to kick the roaches out of the way. Kid-friendliness: I mean I guess you can take your kids here if they're like 21 but I wouldn't bring little 5-year-old Tommy probably. Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure getting liquored up and rocking out in your mobility chair still counts for your DUI so I'd be careful.

Adding edit - My dining experience at this restaurant wasn't recent so they may not have the item I ate on their current menu, but this is the restaurant where the server ignored me for 45 minutes. And from some of the reviews I've read here rude behavior towards customers is still the norm. I had the worst dining experience ever here. I came in on a week night to have a quick dinner. In the larger city I come from everyone carries their things in book bags. It's common. I was not aware that this signals homelessness to Springfieldians. I was seated and waited to order. I waited and waited. A party of six came in and was seated. Their orders were taken. Hmmm. I nicely asked the waitress about placing an order and did so. And I waited and waited and waited. I am way too patient and nice. The fact that they wanted me to leave sailed right over my head. After a good 45 minutes I inquired about my meal. In about 15 more minutes I got my order. It was a pot pie. It was way over seasoned and it was horrible. I ate what I could. I tipped the waitress 20% which was far more than she deserved. I wasn't unclean. I didn't emit a foul odor. I was simply carrying a book bag. I used to carry one everywhere before I moved here. I don't care who a waitress thinks a person is. If a person is polite and not behaving in a disruptive manner you take their order. You are nice to them and you serve their food promptly. Customers are not there to please you. They are there to eat and the servers job is to serve in a professional manner. The upside is this: I will never again tip for poor service. I will be happy to leave a restaurant without tipping if I get such shoddy service ever again. If a server wants to be rewarded for doing a really bad job they need to speak to their boss and ask them for more money. Finnegan's Wake was my wake up call. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
