Fujiwara exceeded my expectations 10x over. I’ve had omakase around the world and to have one of the best experiences of omakase in my own hometown of Seattle, I was surprised to say the least. It was the clean and fresh yet so flavorful and unique taste of every single fish from each course that really made this omakase experience truly different from others. Thank you Fujiwara for such an amazing experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chef Fujiwara runs a limited seating omakase sushi bar. His fish comes from Toyosu Fish Market in Japan and is prepared daily. It is absolutely delicious! Chef Fujiwara and his wife are very friendly and sincere. It has been a long time since I sat at a sushi counter and was able to freely chat with the chef as he worked. Dinner there was a wonderful experience. I am saddened that they are closing at the end of June, but I am also hopeful as they are in the process of finding new premises. At the moment, they share space within another Japanese restaurant. They plan to reopen and continue doing omakase. Updates are posted on their Instagram.

A hidden gem that I am hesitant to let people know. There were only 6 ppl at a time, 2 rounds per night (5:30pm and 7:30pm). $160 pre-tax omakase with 2 appetizers (eel with soba, squid), 12 nigiri, crab chawanmushi and hojicha ice cream. Fuji-san and his wife were very nice, humble and made sure we had a good omakase experience. They are moving soon so won’t take any new reservations after June. Would definitely revisit in the future. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
