Hands down the best coffee I’ve tried in Seoul. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this little café while wandering through the market. The coffee has such a unique and memorable flavour, and there’s something on the menu for everyone. The staff were also incredibly helpful. I tried the coffee the barista recommended based on my taste preferences, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended! Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A coffee shop tucked a few steps into Gwangjang Market (right next to the famous tteokbokki with radish place). The owner, Minkuen Choi, is a 2025 Korean Coffee Roasting Champion and placed 3rd at the World Championships. The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable and will explain the roasts and help you pick something you will like. We went with the Seoul Blend and the famous "Kwangjang Latte" - both were excellent. The line moves fast, the vibe is unique and sometimes chaotic (in a good way), and the quality is world-class. Highly recommend. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When i say the coffee culture in Korea is strong, it's ILHO - Helm by Minkuen Choi who won the 2025 Korean Coffee Roasting championships and 3rd place in the World Coffee Roasting Championships. A must try when in Gwangjang Market, Seoul, South Korea. Best Coffee i had seoul far in korea We tried the Signature NOIR BLANC, KWANGJANG LATTE and The CHOCOLATE. A must try - (Noir Blanc) The velvety blend of black Coffee and cream. (Kwangjang Latte) Floral fragrance meets velvety espresso in the cream latte.
