The place to go in Istanbul for wine lovers! The collection of wines is incredible amd the staff deffinitely knows what they have. I was asked what kind of white wines I like most and I my answer was one of the Spanish grapes. The waiter brought some Turkish wine very similar to what I wanted to drink that night. It was buttery, flowery and summery wine. The food was less impressive. We had a pork pizza and a cheese platter. The platter could have a higher variety and the pizza's base could be softer.If you are on a date, call and ask for a table by the window. Incirli is one of the first places to experience if you love wine.It is also a great place for large groups. The design is very delicate but you still somehow have a feeling of being in a wine cellar.

With an ambience that is attractive this restaurant/wine bar is a nice addition to Istanbul's wineries. Although the prices are higher compared to similar places, the quality is outstanding. Although we requested a table that was calm and quite, there was a big birthday group next to us. They didn't seem to have any kind of table manners whatsoever and constantly bothered ua by getting up, and walking around nonstop. Of course this behavior is not because of the restaurant. The pizza was cold but tasty. I believe they had to wait for serving both the food items at the same time. The wine selection is extensive and appealing to everyone. The service was quite nice with the waiters providing immediate assistance and care. Following my review I was called by the representative of the restaurant and asked about my experience. This is nice gesture as most places don't have such an approach. I really appreciate when restaurants try to push up their quality and show care towards visitor opinions. I was told that they would kindly chance a cold food or loud spot. I'm looking forward to visiting incirli once again.

I was trying to think about Incirli Saraphane could become a five star place for me. The decor is nice, it is almost always empty so the noise level is good. The service is so so, the food is expensive but tasty, and the wine selection is great. So where do they lose that 5th star? Well there have been two occasions where when you have a larger group they will refill the wine for you without telling you or asking what you like. When the bill comes and you wonder why you have just ordered 3 bottles of a more expensive wine, you become very confused. Also the pizza, the pizza is so outrageously expensive. Though it is decent with a nice brick oven on site, I see no possible situtation where I would want to spend that kind of money. Even if I were insanely rich, I still wouldn't get it. Overall it is still not a bad spot, even a nice date spot or for larger groups. Just watch out for the wine refills you never asked for!
