Three dudes, three 2-meat plates, and one communal pile. A ate my way through most of the menu and I couldn't stop. I was so stuffed I couldn't eat again for 24 hours. That's not a complaint, by the way, that's an endorsement. IMO, the Salt Lake Valley has been forced to settle for mediocre chain BBQ restaurants for too long. Not anymore. Les BBQ is easily the most authentic, smoke-rich, and flavorful BBQ to grace the Beehive State. I keep going back and they never disappoint.The Oxtail falls apart. The ribs have the perfect consistency, and the sides can all stand on their own. Les, Michelle, and the rest of the crew earn each of these five stars handily. Been following Les on FB for about 3 years and heard the hype about the oxtail. Was out in Salt Lake city this past weekend and my first stop was Les BBQ. Oxtail bowl was …….perfect amount of seasonings, smoked to perfection and the taste made me want to slap my momma…………I don’t know where they get their oxtail from but I have not seen those size oxtail since I was a kid growing up in the 80’s. I will tip my hat to Les, the hype is real and worth every penny. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway
