First, I’ll say the bread is awesome. However, I cannot recommend the sandwiches. Ordered the Banh Mi and was very disappointed. Just felt like a glorified chicken sandwich. No seasoning, except mayo. Maybe it was my mistake for ordering a Banh Mi sandwich from a bakery. Service is alright - it’s good, but not great. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Had a croissant and a cappuccino. Later returned for another coffee and apple juice. Croissant was very good and freshly made. Coffee just fine. Service was done mostly by quite young staff who were not experienced or/and much trained. They seemed to have a large selection of fresly baked breads and other bakery products, which I didn’t try. Funky location at the back street, together with a furniture store. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$1–10 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

During our family visit to Montreal, we really enjoyed our visit to La Bête à Pain (Griffintown). It was our first time to Montreal and we visited this bakery for breakfast based on google reviews and we were really impressed by everything in there. The first and foremost thing I wanted to highlight is the staff who were amazing, welcoming and very tentative to our needs and gave us a lot of recommendations for our breakfast. A big thank you When it comes to food, it was super delicious, well seasoned and presented perfectly. It is definitely a highly recommended place if you will be around in Montréal. I will definitely be back again and again.
