We visited Songbird Restaurant & Bar to celebrate a friend’s birthday before a performance, which was sadly cancelled. We decided to go ahead with lunch anyway, and it was the best decision! The restaurant was calm and beautifully decorated, and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Laura, Mary and Bind were spectacular: warm, attentive and genuinely caring, while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. Joe, the bartender, was also fantastic. A truly lovely experience from beginning to end. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Songbird! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £40–50

Had a really lovely meal here. I was very unsure given reviews I had read prior to going. I had booked my reservation as part of theatre booking so I had the pre-theatre menu. Which was really good value for money. I was greeted by friendly staff and seated. The food was very nice. I had a beetroot salad to start and then fish for the main. I was given a free drink and a free side dish of deliciously creamy mashed potatoes as the manager was not satisfied with how long my main was taking. I was pleasantly surprised by this as there was still plenty of time before the show but it was nice to see staff this proactive. For dessert I had the chocolate moose which was very flavourful and reminded me of dark chocolate version of Nutella. As solo dinner I had a lovely experience and would definitely go back. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: If you speak to your server they are very helpful

Lovely new dining spot in Wood Wharf, went a few weeks ago. Loved the devilled eggs to start and cod in sparking wine for main. Would recommend grabbing a drink at the bar, very soho house vibes! Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
