I recently stayed in this hotel from 19-22 May. It's extremely well located barely 100m from the iconic bridge and bull ring and gardens. It's also very close to the heart of the old town with a plethora of restaurants, bars,ice cream parlours and souvenir shops. The hotel itself is adequate, but certainly cannot claim to be what is expected of 4 star standard. The rooms are spacious but very dated with the most ghastly yellow marble floor with grey veins which looks like huge scratches. Dull and uninviting. Our room had a separate ante room with a sofa and TV...unfortunately NO English channels or news. The bathroom was clean and shower powerful, but that's about it.There are Tea & Coffee making facilities but no complimentary water on arrival! For £130 per night it felt very poor value for money given that Ronda is a small place. The breakfast was adequate but nothing to get excited about.No variation at all, same fare every day! While the staff at reception and breakfast were polite, they made no attempt to interact with guests. The hotel gets it's business from visitors in Ronda from tour operators so has not bothered to stamp some personality into the hotel. The hotel has paid parking. It's an easy 15 walk from the train and bus station. Ronda itself was beautiful and definitely worth a visit. An overnight stay in Ronda is plenty to see everything there is to see.

Very comfortable rooms! Delicious food. Make sure you try the restaurant. Parking available. Very polite staff.

Really enjoyed my stay in Ronda and the hotel Maestranza. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are spotless clean and air conditioned. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Ronda and the surrounding areas. I would to thank all at hotel Maestranza for making our stay in Ronda a trip to remember.
