This bar is amazing! Look, I didn't even know I was missing a tiki bar in my life. A friend told me about it once, we finally made it by and I was hooked. I've tried a handful of different drinks and have loved every single one of them. Don't drink? They have an NA menu that will satisfy you, as well! Cool vibes, amazing service and my current hyperfixation. You have to check it out! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

A very well done Tiki Bar in an odd spot near the freeway adjoining a fantastic Indian Food restaurant on one side and across the lobby from a rundown hotel on the other. The odd location adds to the charm and speakeasy feel. The owners are extremely friendly and have done an awesome job creating a true Tiki Lounge atmosphere transporting you back to the olden days of Hawaii. Drinks are strong and good and reasonably priced for the atmosphere bonus you are getting. Live music frequently available too. They've thought of everything. Only thing missing is pupus. No food here. But the Indian Restaurant next door will deliver a plate to you. You'll know when Happy Hour starts (4-6) as the lights turn red for a while at the beginning. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20

Pele Utu is a true hidden gem in Reno. The moment you walk in, you’re transported into a dark, immersive tiki escape filled with incredible décor and island vibes. The cocktails are outstanding — well-balanced, rum-forward, and clearly made by people who know and love tiki culture. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxed, the crowd is friendly, and the attention to detail really sets this place apart. If you’re into craft cocktails or just want a unique night out, this spot is absolutely worth seeking out. Price per person: $10–20
