Took my parents here for a weekday lunch and they were genuinely blown away. My dad's a pretty tough food critic and even he admitted the steak was cooked perfectly. The whole setup is more formal than you'd expect from a university restaurant, real table service, nicely presented plates, attentive staff. Chef and the team made everyone feel well taken care of. My mom kept asking me why this place isn't more well known. Honestly, fair question. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What an amazing lunch! We were welcomed and ate like kings! The setting was comfortable and the staff was friendly! Even the chef came to our table to check on how everything tasted. The food was beyond delicious! The attention to detail was impressive and the taste reflected the work that went into every bite! My only advice is to slow down and enjoy! There was so much food and if you can't finish you can always take it home (which we did with our desserts). I am so happy we chose to eat at restaurant forte, it was the perfect place to celebrate Valentine's, a few days early, and can't wait to go back. After parking in visitor by the uccu center make your way to the lower level doors (where the ticket office is) and, once inside, head south down the hall to easily find the restaurant.
