I highly recommend booking ahead for dinner to secure your 75 minute slot. While eating, I saw several walk-ins trying their luck. Although the staff do accommodate them, the venue is incredibly popular and packed with reservations, meaning you could easily face an hour's wait for a table if you don't book. As a solo diner, I was initially worried I wouldn’t be able to try much, but the portions and pace were spot on. Everything I ordered was so good. They are also wonderfully flexible with the oyster menu, instead of committing to a half dozen of one flavour, they let me mix and match two each of the classic, the passion fruit and fig, and the Thai nam jim oysters, which was brilliant. The absolute standout, however, was the octopus. It was incredibly delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tucked away inside the Adelaide Markets, SI SEA was one of those places that reminds you why dining out can still feel special. The food was genuinely outstanding — incredibly fresh seafood, beautifully presented, and every dish felt thoughtfully put together rather than rushed out for volume. You can tell there’s real pride in the kitchen. The atmosphere hit a perfect balance too. Cozy bar-style seating without feeling cramped, a great energy from the market around you, and clever little touches like hooks underneath the bench seating so you’re not awkwardly leaving bags or jackets on the floor. Small detail, but it actually makes a difference. The wine selection was excellent and paired really well with the seafood menu. Pricing sits in that higher-quality range — definitely not cheap — but it never felt unreasonable given the quality of the produce, presentation, and overall experience. Adelaide Markets already have plenty of great food options, but this place stands out. Easily one of the best seafood meals we’ve had in a long time. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
