My party thoroughly enjoyed the meal at Toki. We got a private room looking out the beautiful garden. Each dish came with a wow factor, meticularly crafted with great taste! The fresh bread was amazing, crunchy outside and soft inside. Service was also top notch. Professional and friendly. Our server Ken Sugimoto explained the dishes very well and always carried a smile. We enjoyed the meal at Toki more than a 3-star Michelin at Kyoto. We'll come again if we travel to Kyoto again! Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our lunch at Toki was a masterclass in refined elegance. We were privileged to be seated in a private tatami room, offering an intimate sanctuary with a stunning view of the hotel’s heritage courtyard garden. The meal was a brilliant French-Japanese fusion, where classical French techniques met the delicate, seasonal soul of Kyoto. This was the best, most creative and delicious dinner I have EVER had. (I live in NYC and California and travel often. This was an amazing find.) Each course was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. In a multi-course meal there is usually a few courses that aren’t perfect. This meal was perfect.
