We enjoyed a very tasty brunch here. You choose from the menu and go to the till to order and pay. We didn’t have to wait long for our order. The sandwiches and pastries looked delicious. Point deducted as the restaurant was looking a little tired and could perhaps do with some updating. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure

Their food has gone downhill much like everywhere else. The pastrami sandwiches now have half the amount of meat they used to have but come in at a whopping 9.25, which is quite simply outrageous. The bread was stale and the bottom soggy, so was probably served yesterday's batch. Not coming back. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in

I was in port of Leith Victor Hugo I had just been to the butcher in leith and walked all the way down to port of leith passing other coffee shops but I like Victor Hugo,s so went in got served by nice waitress coffee and millionaire,s short bread the waitress that took it to my table black haired girl served me but she kept looking at my face I suffer from rosea and rosey face which I was born with and if there is touch of heat or hot coffee it gets worse but I fancied another cuppùchino so went up got the same girl she looked atme though I was dirt ordered and just was going to turn round to go back to my chair and she put up her thumb to say go back to your seat with a face on her like thunder then she come with it and thumped it on the table not even a thank you or nothing am sure I heard her say he is drunk which was a lot of rubbish I think she was the head waitress she seemed the oldest in there it really upset me this is the second time I have had problems with your staff there were two up at the meadows that were insulting but that was a while ago am 72 and live on the high street I really don,t need this attitude I don,t get it from Starbucks or Costa so I don,t know why Its always victor -hugo,s I should have asked for her name it really upset me ill know in future..
