Hi, I’ve been a customer for Zaxby’s for many years. Normaly I go to the Chamblee location bc I live in Brookhaven. But today I was visiting family in the area and decided to pick up food from this location. I go to drive through to pick up my food and when I get to the window, I see this lady with a mean look on her face not wanting to open the window. Btw it’s only 5 pm, beautiful sunny day on May 2nd. And I was like “I’m here to pick up my food”. She then opens the window, her name is YANET, and rudely mumbles something to the effect “you pick up from back there, not here”. I’m like “pick up from where?” I was confused and also offended by her condescending tone. She had to repeat like 3 times for me to understand bc she barely speaks English. And no offense, I’m an immigrant myself. I was born in Romania but I think that if you live in the US you should learn English and be able to carry a conversation. Anyway after she repeated like 3 times, I finally understood. She was trying to say that when I pick up food, don’t just show up to the window, tell them in the microphone that I’m picking up food. I get it, even though at the Brookhaven location I always drive straight to the window. No one ever complained. But it’s not a problem for me. Every store has their own policy. But say it nicely. You don’t need to be rude. When I buy food, I want to relax and enjoy my time, not be lectured by a middle aged Mexican woman who doesn’t speak English. I will definitely not return to this location. The staff here is always on point. I pick up from here all the time, and I never have to wait or have any mistakes. They’re really crushing it here. They deserve a higher rating. I was in there one time, it had to be 80 teenagers in there, and they handled it so smoothly. I was impressed. I don’t really even write that many reviews, but I have to give it up for them folks.
